For our video selection this month, we are pleased to present INSIDE JOB, produced, written, and directed by Charles Ferguson. Once again we look beyond the events of 9/11 to explore a larger theme, that of how the average citizen is marginalized, weakened, and debt-enslaved by an economic system that serves the very wealthy at the expense of everyone else.  Rarely does a film come along that is as timely and effective as this one at ripping the cover off the deception.

Winner of “Best Documentary” at the 2011 Academy Awards, INSIDE JOB is the first film to expose the shocking truth behind the economic crisis of 2008. The global financial meltdown, at a cost of over $20 trillion, resulted in millions of people losing their homes and jobs. Denver and Boulder Monthly Meetings: “Deceptions” March 2011

Mark your calendars!  The Denver chapter of Colorado 9/11 Visibility meets on the third Friday of every month, and Boulder 9/11 Visibility meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month.  Details below.

For our video presentation at this month’s meetings in Denver and Boulder, we are pleased to offer Deceptions, a film by Chris Pratt. Deceptions is a film about awareness and critical thinking. Starting with 9/11 and proceeding through Bush and then Obama, the film reveals an elite of a much higher order. Master puppeteers of unimaginable wealth and power, an elite shrouded in secrecy and protected by layers of the super rich, and a media that controls both the news and public opinion. They are the ones pulling the strings, the ones in charge.

Chris Pratt, a Vermont neural plasticity expert who calls himself a “citizen journalist,” made this film in the midst of his own crisis of discovery, and dedicated it to the unveiling of several deceptions and the waking up of America.

This is the theme of our times. And the people are rising, making films, educating ourselves, standing up, and finding our voice. Join us for this remarkable film, 58 minutes in length.

Mark your calendars!  Boulder 9/11 Visibility is resuming 9/11 Truth meetings the forth Wednesday of each month!  See information below.

For our video presentation at this month’s meeting, we are pleased to offer Outside the Law: Stories From Guantánamo. This film, which premiered at the Human Rights Film Festival in Oslo, Norway, in February 2010, humanizes the men who were deprived of the right to a trial and instead tortured for years at the hands of American military and intelligence agents.  Your view of these detainees will change radically after seeing this film.

Special guest and activist Susan Hall will join us to introduce the film and help lead the discussion afterward. See below for Susan’s bio.
