Colorado’s KBDI-TV Channel 12 to Air 9/11 Truth Documentary:

9/11 Press for Truth

KBDI (Channel 12) in Denver

If Channel 12 has a successful pledge drive with this excellent film, other Public Broadcast Stations around the nation may pick this up and show it–or another 9/11 truth film.  KBDI, in showing this film, is doing what media should do:  showing all sides of an issue so we become an informed public that can then make informed decisions.  Stations like KBDI are nonprofit and survive on community sponsorship….this is OUR media.

This is what each of us can do:

During the showing on Wednesday night, call in and offer your thanks in the form of donating and becoming a member of this gutsy PBS station.

If you cannot afford to become a member, then call in anyway and offer as a donation whatever you are able to give!

If you cannot afford money, make a brief call and offer your thanks!

Pool your resources with a friend or two, call in to join, and divide between you the wonderful 9/11 truth gifts you will receive for joining KBDI.

Filmmaker to present Documentary film exposing government cover-up of 9/11 at CU, Boulder, June 4th, 6:30pm – 9:30pm, Room 250, Eaton Humanities (HUMN) building.

The documentary film, 9/11: Press for Truth, revealing government cover-up and deception surrounding the September 11th attacks, and featuring the 9/11 victims’ families, will be screened at University of Colorado at Boulder on Thursday, June 4th. The event is to be held from 6:30pm – 9:30pm in room 250 of the Eaton Humanities (HUMN) building on the CU campus.

Local activist groups Boulder 9/11 Visibility and Colorado 9/11 Visibility and a University of Colorado student group “180-11” are co-sponsoring the screening of the independent film and hosting one of the film’s producers, Kyle F. Hence who will be on hand to answer questions about the 9/11 Commission, his next film project and to discuss the growing global movement for truth and accountability. Hence, a former resident of Boulder is back in town for the June 3rd U.S. broadcast television premiere of 9/11 Press for Truth on KBDI-12, a PBS station in Denver.

Since its release in 2006, Hence, with writer and Executive Producer credits on the film, has been witness to the documentary’s success as an underground across the globe. The film has received near universally excellent critical reviews while being officially selected and screened at international film festivals in Brazil, Mexico and the Czech Republic. Here in the US several hundred home, library and theatrical screenings rallied tens of thousands to support a new investigation, while US satellite networks, Denver-based FreeSpeechTV and LINKTV, beamed the film to hundreds of thousands of households across the country in 2007 and 2008. Overseas, the film has reached millions in France, Spain, Poland, Switerland, Norway, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand and throughout the Middle East via Al-Jazeera. The complete film has also been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times from GoogleVideo. Last year, it peaked as a top 10 documentary on Apple’s iTunes.

On the political front, 9/11 Press for Truth has been central to ongoing national lobbying campaigns to have 9/11 re-investigated.  DownsizeDC, a libertarian group, and a number of liberal organizations including Democrats.com and Progressive Democrats of America have supported the call for nationwide screenings and house parties as part of an effort to compel Congress to re-open inquiries into the unresolved, covered-up or outstanding issues surrounding the attacks.

In 2007, the Accountability project organized by DownsizeDC rallied Americans supportive of a new investigation to sponsor the mailing of a DVD and letter to their representative in Congress.  Downsize DC was joined by a Canadian group that sponsored a DVD mailing to each of the Presidential primary candidates, as well as prominent members of the US Congress. Hence has personally presented a copy of the documentary to Representative Kucinich and Water and to former Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

hyman-brownWhile introducing an interview that appeared on NBC-TV on September 11, 2001, Tom Brokaw referred to Hyman Brown as the “architect” of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers.[i]

Hyman Brown was not the architect of the Twin Towers.

In an article that appeared on September 10, 2007, The Jerusalem Post referred to Hyman Brown as the “Twin Towers chief engineer.”[ii]

Hyman Brown was not the Twin Towers chief engineer.

Hyman Brown, in various books, articles, lectures, and television interviews has been referred to as the “architect . . . chief engineer . . . project engineer [iii]. . . construction manager[iv] . . . fifth in command ”[v] of the Twin Towers.

None of it is true. What’s more, Hyman Brown admits that none of it is true, although he has made no effort to set the record straight.

The Twin Towers were designed by architect Minoru Yamasaki in the early 1960s . . . when Hyman Brown was an undergraduate at City College of New York.[vi] Construction on the Twin Towers took place in the late 1960’s . . . when Hyman Brown was attending California State University at Los Angeles. The Twin Towers were completed in 1971 . . . when Hyman Brown was employed at Tishman Realty and Construction in Los Angeles. According to his own resume,[vii] Hyman Brown began working at the World Trade Center in 1972, a full year after the Twin Towers were dedicated.[viii] Did he hold a position of authority after 1972? Maybe. But he held no important position before then, although everywhere he goes, from Boulder to Jerusalem, he strives to leave the impression that he did.

In a history of the World Trade Center entitled City in the Sky, architect Minoru Yamasaki is referred to six times, chief engineer John Skilling thirteen times, structural engineer Leslie Robertson eight times, and construction manager Ray Monti six times, but Hyman Brown is not mentioned.[ix] In a personal email to me, Leslie Roberston said that he never heard of Hyman Brown.[x] How could that be? How could the structural engineer not know the identity of the “architect”, the “chief engineer”, the “production manager”? Is that credible?
