This month Colorado 9/11 Visibility is proud to present Dr. David Ray Griffin’s brilliant challenge to the progressive media:  9/11: Why Do Bill Moyers and Robert Parry Accept Miracles? (1 hour, 15 minutes)

Hosted by philosopher, educator, activist, and author Dr. Richard Curtis, Professor Griffin explores at Town Hall in Seattle why some of the best independent journalists in America accept without question the official conspiracy theories put forth by the 9/11 Commission and NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) in their investigations of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
Using Bill Moyers and Robert Parry as examples of journalists who have previously demonstrated notable courage, objectivity, and a willingness to examine crucial events in depth, rather than simply accepting a single-minded source, Dr. Griffin challenges their current disregard of the overwhelming scientific evidence uncovered by the growing number of professionals openly supporting the 9/11 Truth Movement and calling for a proper investigation.

Dr. Griffin explains how careful examination of the official conspiracy theories regarding the unprecedented collapse of the three tallest World Trade Center buildings reveals contradictions and violations of the laws of physics, which he rightly points out as being impossible, and therefore would require “miracles” to achieve, unless carried out by the use of explosive, controlled demolition techniques.

Pentagon Papers Whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg Says that the Government Has ORDERED the Media Not to Cover 9/11

It’s big news that the Pentagon Papers have finally been released by the government.

But the statements from Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg about 9/11 have not been covered by the corporate media.
As Fire Dog Lake’s Jeff Kaye writes today:

The entire 9/11 field of inquiry has been vilified, poisoned over the years by ridicule, sometimes fantastic conspiracy mongering, and fearfulness by journalists of approaching the material, lest they be branded as irresponsible or some kind of conspiracy freak. Denver Monthly Meeting: “Torturing Democracy” June 2009

Thursday, June 25th is TORTURE ACCOUNTABILITY ACTION DAY. Since 9/11 was the pretext for the shameful legacy of torture that our country now bears, we will deviate from our usual 9/11 truth films, and honor the crucial need for accountability for those responsible for authorizing these atrocities.

Video: “Torturing Democracy”

After 9/11/01, five lawyers for the Bush administration met behind closed doors, called themselves the “War Council,”  and crafted legal counsel to authorize torture by our military and intelligence agencies.

Shown on Bill Moyers Journal, Torturing Democracy is a film from award-winning producer Sherry Jones. It examines America’s detention and interrogation practices in the “war on terror,” and gives us an overview of this history: Who was rounded up by bounty hunters and others around the world? Who tried to stop this insanity? Who prevailed with this political policy creating the mess we now have? What did Congress do? What did the Supreme Court do? What happened to the detainees?

We will learn that the techniques used came from the SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance Escape)  military training program, which in turn came from North Korea, the Soviet Union’s Stalin, and the Spanish Inquisition.

9:00-9:30: Discussion: What did the film leave out? Since the trail of evidence for 9/11 leads in part to Rumsfeld and Cheney, why would they be so insistent on torturing  detainees? What action can we take on June 25th?

Note: Please be aware that we are a multi-partisan organization and do not consider torture a Republican value. Many from the Republican and Libertarian parties have been among the most vociferous in calling for a new investigation into 9/11 and consider the radical neo-conservatives  treasonous–as well as the Democrats who continue to cover-up and enable these policies.
