Denver, Boulder, and Grand Junction Meetings: “Stealing America: Vote By Vote,” Plus Interviews from “Meet the Experts” June 2012

2012 is a presidential election year. But are you confident your vote will be counted? Are you confident that the electronic voting machine will tally your vote correctly? If the election years of 2000 and 2004 are any indication, you should not be.

Our main feature, Dorothy Fadiman’s film Stealing America: Vote By Vote, crunches numbers and shows us that for more than 30 years, exit polls accurately predicted election results. However, over the last twelve years, that reliability seems to have disappeared.

What’s going on, and what, if anything, has changed?  This film brings together behind-the-scenes perspectives from the U.S. presidential elections of 2000 and 2004 — plus startling stories from key Congressional races in 1998, 2002 and 2006.

Stealing America sheds light on a decade of vote counts that don’t match votes cast — uncounted ballots, vote switching, under-votes, and many other examples of election totals that warrant serious investigation. It unveils anomalous patterns at every level of the electoral process, while probing controversial alliances that perpetuate a secretive environment, while relevant facts and figures remain hidden from view.

As seemingly unrelated pieces of the puzzle come together, a chilling picture emerges of widespread, artfully crafted “glitches” that, in the final tallies, have the capacity to alter election results.

Filmmaker Dorothy Fadiman weighs the evidence indicating three electoral problems: that political influence may have been used to leverage presidential election results in certain states; that significant numbers of voters may have been illegally prevented from casting their ballots; and that the latest generation of electronic voting machines could be easily susceptible to tampering.

In Denver, special guest Jeff Cook will bring us up-to-date on this issue.

Come this November should we still be concerned? Please join us for this very informative film and discussion afterward with Jeff.

Bio: Jeff Cook is a self-employed, computer programmer who for many years has been an activist for electoral reform and auditing.

In addition to the main feature, we will show four short interviews from Meet the Experts, the bonus DVD from the 9/11: Explosive Evidence – Experts Speak Out, Final Edition set.  These interviews are with Roland Angle, PE, demolition expert; Erik Lawyer, Founder of Firefighters for 9/11 Truth; Michael Donly, PE, structural engineer; and Bob Hopper, PhD, psychologist.
